I am a landscape artist at heart who sometimes enjoys painting other subjects.

I work mostly in oils, pastels and some acrylics.

The process of building up an image layer by layer by glazing and scumbling holds a special fascination for me. It resembles the search for the philosopher's stone in which the Gold is achieved when the sometimes elusive last touches make the painting sing.
